About the Pittsburgh Scottish Athletics Association (PSAA)
A local organization based in the Pittsburgh region, who competes individually & collectively in Scottish Highland Games across the country.
Our members range from very experienced athletes, to novice beginners, that all share the passion for the sport.
Our mission is to grow the sport of Scottish Highland Games in the Pittsburgh region thru education, networking, events, and more.

The Games are also noted for their unique heavy athletic events many of which involve throwing and lifting, including the caber toss, hammer, braemar stone, WOB, WFD, Sheaf. They are collectively known as heavy events.
